We stand behind Explainly. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, request a full refund within 30 days and we will process it — no questions asked.
This Refund Policy applies to all paid plans of the Explainly Chrome extension: Pro, Premium, and Premium Yearly. Payments are processed by Paddle (international) or Razorpay (India).

- Premium (monthly): Full refund within 30 days of purchase or renewal.
- Premium Yearly: Full refund within 30 days of purchase or renewal.

3. Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed by Paddle (international) or Razorpay (India), depending on your payment method.
- Once approved, refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Currency conversion differences (if any) are handled by Paddle and are not our responsibility.
4. After a Refund
- Upon approval of a refund, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier.
- Cloud saves and other Pro features will no longer be accessible, but your saved data will be retained for 30 days in case you resubscribe.
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions will be cancelled automatically when a refund is issued.
5. Exceptions
We reserve the right to deny a refund request if:
- The 30-day window has passed.
- We have reasonable evidence of fraud or abuse (e.g., repeated refund requests across multiple accounts).
- The account has been suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.
6. Free Plan
The free plan does not involve any payment, so there is nothing to refund. If you have a question about free plan limitations, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
